I hereby release, absolve, indemnify and hold harmless the West Michigan Homeschool Theatre teachers and assistants as well as the rehearsal venue and performance theatre; and in case of injury during normal routines and activities pertaining to drama rehearsals and performances, I hereby waive all claims against the above. I assume all risks incidental to the conduct of these activities and transportation to and from drama activities.

3. Every person is a unique creation and gift from God. We are genuinely committed to teaching in a Christ-like and God-honoring manner. We take this responsibility seriously and humbly and want to do everything we can to provide the best drama education experience possible. Every year we are privileged to see gifts blossoming and God working! In order to prevent any hindrance to this development, we ask that you follow the policies below.

Attendance: Cast and Crew are expected to be available for every scheduled rehearsal. Only conflicts listed on audition form are guaranteed excused absences. Please understand that regular attendance is an integral part of producing a quality production. Emergency situations and illnesses should be communicated to Mrs. Baldwin as early as possible. Unexcused absences may result in recasting, reassignment or dismissal from the show in fairness to other cast members.

Behavior: Cast and Crew members are expected to demonstrate honorable character at all time. Uplifting language, consideration, respect, obedience, humility, a teachable spirit, etc.

Dress: Proper attire will be the sole discretion of Mrs. Baldwin. Please note that a high standard of modesty will be upheld. Respect yourself and others. Questionable attire will be dealt with on an individual basis.

4. West Michigan Homeschool Theatre runs on volunteers! We do not have paid staff. In order to continue providing a wonderful learning and performance experience, we must have volunteers from each family. In order for your child to participate, they will need to sell ads for our show and a parent must attend our volunteer meeting in January where you will need to commit to helping during production week as well as some volunteer work during the rehearsal months. A list of volunteer needs can be found on the website. A list of businesses that have contributed to ads in the past can be found on the family side of this website.

5. This is your electronic signature affirming the above information. 6. Registration cost for each student is $250 This includes 3 months of drama education, performance experience, a DVD of the performance, evening meals on performance days, and a t-shirt (or instead of a t-shirt you can upgrade to a Hoodie only, for an additional $25). There is no discount for each additional student. Each student will receive a DVD of the performance. Select below a registration with t-shirt OR hoodie for each student. WMHT is a cooperation of families who work together to provide quality performance opportunities for our community of local homeschoolers. Since at least the year 2000, Western Michigan homeschoolers have been gracing a variety of stage venues throughout the area. Drama is an outlet for creativity, socialization, as well as a contributor to a plethora of subjects including, but not limited to, history, the arts, literature, physics and even math! The ultimate goal of this group is to glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
